Flags and Numbers by Valfrutta (1998-2003)
This set is composed by 216 different caps (174 flags, 10 numbers, 26 letters, 5 mathematical symbols and 1 Valfrutta logo). The sets have 5 different factory signs ("dap", "Cci", "S" and "n") and the ones made by Cci and Pelliconi are bottled by Conserve Italia/Valfrutta in two different towns (S.Lazzaro di Savena and Barbiano Cotignola). There's also difference between "dap" sets with new and old factory sign. So, if you consider them too, like me, the huge complete set is composed by 9 sets of 216 caps for a total of 1944. Some sets have mistakes regarding Chile and Comore flags and caps with wrong flags and/or country name.

NOTE: Some factories made a mistake in the COMORE cap. This cap has the flag of COMORE but it has the writing "CILE".
1999: Another factory (New Box, "n") made this set. This because SCA factory in Turin ("S") closed.
2000: Cause a new italian regulation, beverage producers are no longer forced to put on the crown caps the "Contrassegno IVA" number (B/1, B/2,...A/1,A/2,...). So, early in August Valfrutta has released a new flag set of 216 caps like the previous ones but without any writing on the caps' side. Caps made by NewBox factory.
2003: Caps are manufactured by Pelliconi too, if you consider this one a difference, there are other 216 new caps. They are 2 different sets if you consider also the difference between the new and the old Pelliconi logo.
